The original 'Hold to the Rod' sculpture was masterfully created by Lance Halterman to capture the central allegory of Lehi’s vision from the Book of Mormon. It depicts the iron rod, representing the word of God, guiding the faithful through mists of darkness to the tree of life, symbolizing the importance of staying faithful to divine teachings to avoid temptation and spiritual destruction. This design became a foundational piece for us at One Moment In Time. Over the years, the sculpture has been adapted into tie bars, pins, and necklaces, allowing the imagery to be carried daily. This piece honors our family craftsmanship and the enduring scriptural reminder to hold fast to the truth.
